I went to my favorite watering hole the other night to meet with a potential sub. We've been corresponding by email and limited text for almost three weeks.

I allowed him to call me 30 minutes before our scheduled meeting.

I though his voice sounded somewhat familiar, but I wasn't able to place it. Sure enough when I approached the both designated for our rendezvous. My freshmen English teacher looked up and said "hi." I plopped down and waited for him to say he recognize me.

It never happened. I assume because the class was large, and took place several years ago. He wasn't able to pick me out of a police lineup.

I endured this awkward situation for about 15 minutes, said "I don't think we're compatible." I drained the dregs, and hit the door.

Anyone ever had something like this happen to them?

Wow.... I have one question: Was it a high school or college English teacher? My comment on your decision is that you’re a wise person. As for the exact situation, nothing like that has ever happened to me, but something similar COULD have... at least in my sometimes paranoid mind.

This happened when I was about to graduate from college, after my first or second session of my life with my first Mistress, the legendary Belle de Jour back in the early '70s. We did a role play of her being Queen of the Amazons and me being a shipwrecked sailor dressed literally in a rag loin cloth. She wanted to take me to some Manhattan swing club and perform in public with her. I was very hot for Belle but I naively thought, “What would happen if someone who wanted to hire me saw me at the club?” I declined.

Years later I became a manager and thought how paranoid or uncomfortable I’d be if a job candidate came to me that knew I was at a swing club, or had been my Mistress! LOL!

He was my (college) English 101 & 102 instructor. I always sat in back with the art posers, tattooed goths, and various other assorted misfits.

I'm sure he didn't notice the eighteen year old aspiring Domme, gracing his classroom.
